1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JobScrape ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration
- You may register using Google OAuth or by creating an account manually
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Credits and Packages
- The Service operates on a credit-based system
- Each scraper run consumes 1 credit
- Credits are purchased via Razorpay in predefined packages
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- Credits do not expire unless your account is deleted or terminated for violations
- We reserve the right to modify credit pricing with reasonable advance notice
5. Payments
- All payments are processed in INR (Indian Rupees) via Razorpay
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- A payment confirmation will be sent to your registered email
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal or professional job search purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to collect data for resale or redistribution
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our platform itself
- Run automated scripts or bots against our own website
- Use the Service to spam recruiters or companies with mass outreach
- Attempt to circumvent credit limits or payment requirements
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Indian or international law
7. Job Data Disclaimer
- Job listings are sourced from publicly available pages on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and Instahyre
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any job listing
- Job listings may be outdated, expired, or inaccurate by the time you view them
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, or Instahyre
- We make no guarantee regarding job application success or recruiter responsiveness
8. Service Availability
- We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- Scraper runs may fail due to changes in third-party website structures, rate limits, or bot detection by source platforms
- Credits will not be deducted for scraper runs that fail due to a technical error on our side
- We may perform maintenance with or without prior notice
9. Intellectual Property
- All platform code, UI design, branding, and content created by us is our intellectual property
- Job listing data remains the property of the respective source platforms
- You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our platform's design or codebase
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity or payment chargebacks
- Abuse the scraper infrastructure (e.g., running excessive concurrent sessions)
- Attempt to harm the platform or other users
Upon termination, your remaining credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable if the termination was due to a violation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 30 days
- We are not responsible for actions taken by you based on job listings obtained through the Service
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
